Extruded Acrylic Rods are available from 5 mm dia to 25 mm dia; Extruded Acrylic rods are available in standard 2 foot lengths. These acrylic rods are excellent for use in POP Displays and other decorative items. Extruded acrylic rods do not have the optical clarity or machining characteristics of cast acrylic rod.

In larger diameter rods; these high-quality extruded rods are commonly used as grab bars in showers, tubs and spas. Acrylic is moisture resistant, non-toxic and meets standard building codes for use in these applications.
Extruded acrylic rods are NOT used for machining.

Cast Acrylic Rods available from dia 15 mm to 150 mm; offer excellent clarify & machining charaterics when compared to extruded rods.
Acrylic offers high light transmittance and can be easily heat-formed without loss of optical clarity. Prolonged exposure to moisture, or even total immersion in water, does not significantly effect the mechanical or optical properties of this outstanding economical and multi-purpose material.
Cast acrylic rods are supplied in standard 2 foot lengths, but can also be provided in custom sizes.
